#1 on Google
in 28 Days
How we built Primal Sounds a hand-coded website that outranks companies that have been in business for over a decade — in less than a month.
The Client
Primal Sounds is a full-service event production company based in Northeastern Pennsylvania. They provide sound systems, LED video walls, stage lighting, and full production crew for concerts, festivals, and corporate events across the region.
They had a social media presence and word-of-mouth reputation, but no website that could compete on Google. Their competitors — companies that had been operating for 10+ years — owned every search result in the Scranton market.
The Problem
Search "LED wall rental Scranton" or "event production Scranton" before we built the site — Primal Sounds didn't exist on Google. The first page was entirely occupied by Mid Atlantic Event Group, Endeavor Audio & Lighting, and national aggregators like The Knot and GigSalad.
No website. No search presence. No organic leads. Every booking came through Instagram DMs or referrals.
What We Built
30 Hand-Coded Pages
6 core pages, 9 service/location pages targeting specific keywords and cities, and 15 long-form blog articles. Every page hand-coded — no WordPress, no templates, no page builders.
Technical SEO Foundation
5 types of structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, BreadcrumbList, WebSite). Unique title tags, meta descriptions, and H1s on every page. OG tags, Twitter cards, canonical URLs, geo meta tags. Proper internal linking between service pages and blog content.
Performance Engineering
Custom font loading strategy. Lazy-loaded images. Optimized CSS delivery. The result: 99/99 on GTmetrix with an LCP of 880ms, 0ms blocking time, and zero layout shift. Only 345KB total page size across 12 requests. Google's algorithm now weighs page speed as a direct ranking factor — and this site is faster than 99% of the web.
AI Overview Optimization
Every service page leads with a direct-answer first paragraph containing specific pricing and service details — the exact format Google's AI Overview pulls from. FAQ schema on all pages provides structured question-and-answer data that feeds directly into featured snippets and AI summaries.
The Results
Within 28 days of launching the SEO content, Primal Sounds became the #1 organic result on Google for multiple high-value commercial keywords — outranking companies that have been in business for over a decade.
Technical Proof
These aren't vanity metrics. These are the numbers Google uses to decide who ranks.

The Timeline
Live Results (6 Weeks Later)
These numbers are from Cloudflare and Google Search Console as of April 2026 — six weeks after launch.
478 unique visitors in a single day. Zero paid advertising. Every visitor found Primal Sounds through Google organic search, Google Maps, or direct — all driven by the hand-coded site and SEO foundation we built.
For context: Primal Sounds had no website presence before this project. No SEO. No indexed pages. No organic traffic. In 6 weeks it went from invisible to 478 people finding the business on Google every day.

Why This Worked
Most web design agencies hand you a WordPress template, install 30 plugins, and call it SEO-ready. The site loads in 4 seconds, scores 35 on PageSpeed, and sits on page 7 of Google forever.
We write every line of code by hand. That means we control exactly what the browser loads, how fast it loads, and what Google sees when it crawls. There's no plugin bloat. No render-blocking scripts. No layout shift. Just clean, fast, semantic HTML that Google rewards.
The result: a site that loads in 1.1 seconds, scores 99/99 on GTmetrix with a Grade A, and ranks #1 on Google in 28 days. Not because of tricks — because of engineering.
